Juvenile run over by parade float after Christmas parade
BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that occurred in the parking lot of Bradley Central High School following the Annual Christmas Parade.
According to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, a juvenile who was riding on a parade float fell from the float as it was taking a low-speed turn in the parking lot at the high school.
After falling, the juvenile was run over by the tires of the float.
Deputies and emergency medical personnel on scene responded immediately, saying the juvenile was alert and conscious at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Due to the age, the juvenile’s name is being withheld at this time.
Police say additional information will be released as it becomes available.
