Kane Brown hosts Walmart show live from Fort Oglethorpe

The Walmart Homecoming concert was anchored at LFO High tonight

FORT OGLETHORPE, Georgia (WDEF) – The Walmart Homecoming event streamed nationwide tonight, featuring a live concert from singer Kane Brown at LFO High School.

The show featured 3 national acts all going home to their alma maters and performing for students.

Shows by Imagine Dragons (Las Vegas) and Chance The Rapper (Chicago) were recorded and played back.

The live element to the show was Kane singing in a specially built stage in the parking lot of the high school in Fort Oglethorpe.

The hosts were young actors Noah Schnapp (Stranger Things) and Madison Bailey (Outer Banks), who were both back stage at LFO tonight.

And Brown put some local flavor in his hit song, What Ifs.

The LFO marching band drumline joined him for the intro to the song.

The stream began with a taped segment on Brown returning to his old school and talking to some of his coaches.

Walmart is also donating backpacks to the school, stuffed with gift cards and items from sponsors.

You can watch the entire Homecoming event on Walmart’s social media pages, including their YouTube page below. (The show starts with the drum line at 4:30 into the stream)
