Kids Art Box learning Van Gogh and other art history first hand

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- A Chattanooga company is helping parents with their kids’ education through art.

Kids Art Box is selling their commemorative Van Gogh “My Artist Box” after a request from parents due to a Van Gogh experience across the county.

Kids art box Owner and founder Melanie Phillips said projects like the Van Gogh allow kids to get a hand on experience and learn about the artist while doing fun activities.

This along with other month boxes teaches kids 3 to 12 art and allows kids to expand their interest in other subjects such as history.

it’s very educational for all the children. The boxes bring in history and artists and talk about the artwork and their lives so there’s a lot of learning coming into it,” said Phillips
