Kiffin goes ‘crazy’ at commitment from Baylor OL
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Baylor senior Brycen Sanders already has his future decided. The four-star offensive lineman committed to Ole Miss this week after receiving over 20 Division I offers.
The Rebels were the first DI school to extend an offer, which came in December of Sanders’ sophomore year. Eleven SEC schools were among the offers, including Tennessee and Georgia.
Playing for coach Lane Kiffin was a big draw for the 6-foot-4 recruit.
“When I told him I was committing there, he went crazy,” Sanders said. “Then the next day, the O-line coach told me at their team meetings that it was the happiest he’s ever seen coach Kiffin, so you know he’s definitely pumped up to get me. On twitter, he’s funny, but in person he’s really cool, talks football, just down to earth guy and I can’t wait to go play for him.”
