Kitchen Incubator hosts inaugural Christmas market and parade
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Kitchen Incubator held their inaugural Christmas market and parade which included over 20 different food trucks.
“This is part of the community helping the entrepreneurs here in the city so its big because we are all about supporting local entrepreneurs and helping them get their business off the ground, so we just wanted to do something Christmas holiday season and be able to support entrepreneurs as well as invite people out,” said Pat Rowe with the Kitchen Incubator of Chattanooga.
The organization has classes every Friday on how to run your own food truck.
Rowe praised how the addition of food trucks has such a positive impact on the community.
“We work with food trucks on a day-to-day basis and its easy once you build that relationship with the owners of the food trucks, it makes things easy,” said Rowe.
Mac’s Subs and Fries has been a massive contributor to the success of the food trucks in the community when it comes to ‘Food Truck Friday’s.’
“The Kitchen Incubator has been a great platform for a lot of young entrepreneurs that are trying to get into the food industry, so this is a steppingstone for them,” said Owner of Mac’s Subs and Fries, Chris Macdonald.
While it may have been a Christmas market and parade, the Kitchen Incubator made sure to support local businesses in the process.
