Kites taking to the sculpture sky

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- Kites took to the sky today, in Chattanooga, for some artistic family fun.

The sculpture field is known for being an outdoor museum. 

Today those statues were surrounded by kites of all shapes, sizes, and designs.

These events allow families to enjoy the fun of flying a kite and appreciate the artwork. 

“It really connects with the mission of the sculpture field here because we’re all about the community. We’ve come up with(?check words) us I want to bring people into the park because it exposes them not only to the gates but also the amazing outdoor art museum we have which is the sculpture fields,”
