Knox County chooses internal candidate over Bradley Superintendent

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Knox County School Board chose an internal option this evening over a candidate from Bradley County to be there next superintendent.
Dr. Linda Cash from the Bradley County school system was a finalist for the job in Knoxville.
But on Tuesday evening, the board voted 6-2 for Dr. Jon Rysewyk, who was their Assistant Superintendent.
Dr. Cash got the other two votes.
There were three finalists before the board.
