Knoxville TVA building evacuated after sprinklers turned on
KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – About a thousand TVA workers were evacuated this morning from their office complex downtown.
TVA officials report “some kind of event” in the computer data center turned on the sprinkler system.
No one was hurt in the incident.
No fire or explosion at TVA towers in downtown Knoxville. Rupture in Halon fire suppression pipe caused employees to be evacuated. No injuries and all employees accounted for.
