La Paz to offer 12 week business course in Spanish
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- La Paz is launching a new program to help aspiring Hispanic business owners.
They are launching a 12 week business course in Spanish conducted by Marco Perez.
The course will cover a wide range of topics from branding to staffing practices that all small business owners need to know.
La Paz says this program, made possible by grants from Hamilton County and the state, is critical to helping bridge the gap for Chattanooga’s Hispanic population.
“It really takes the helping guidance of individuals who understand the local economic system and the bureaucracy of business, and these are barriers that our community faces because a lot of these resources are not available in Spanish,” says Lily Sanchez, with La Paz.
