Lady Flames Fall at Home to Union 85-72

Cleveland, TN-(WDEF) The Lee Lady Flames fell behind seven at halftime, and they could never overtake Union in falling 85-72.
The deficit was still eight entering the fourth quarter, but Lee could never find the scoring spurt they needed.
Abby Bertram paced the Lady Flames with 20 points while Shelby Brown added 13.
Lee struggled behind the arc in the second half hitting just 2-of-11 three-pointers.
The Flames are now 12-6 overall and 7-5 in the Gulf South Conference.
The Lady Flames game and the Lee University men’s game on Thursday were both broadcast on ESPN3 from Walker Arena.
