Lady Vols Lose Isabelle Harrison to Torn ACL

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Tennessee center Isabelle Harrison has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
Harrison hurt her knee while battling for an offensive rebound Sunday in a 72-58 victory Sunday over No. 11 Kentucky, ranked 10th at the time. Lady Vols coach Holly Warlick confirmed the severity of the injury Monday.
Harrison said in a university statement that "I know my teammates will use this as motivation to pursue the ultimate goal."
She had been wearing a brace on her right knee since spraining it in Tennessee’s season opener, an injury that caused her to miss five games.
Harrison was averaging 12.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game to lead the Lady Vols (22-3, 12-0 SEC) in both categories.
