LaFayette Native Ben Chapman to Make Opry Debut

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — LaFayette native Ben Chapman will be taking over country music’s biggest stage this weekend.

Chapman will be making his Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday night.

The country artist is also releasing a new song, “Baby Don’t Cry It’s Saturday Night” this Friday.

He plans to perform it at the Opry on a new Gibson Les Paul guitar.

Chapman posted on his social media pages that he’s “honored to step into that circle.”

Ben will also be hosting and performing another Peach Jam show at the Basement East in Nashville on December 13.
