Lake Resort Drive closing on Friday due to crane installment

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Lake Resort Drive will be fully closed on Friday due to the installment of a crane.

This closure begins this Friday, August 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Hixson Pike will act as the primary detour during this time, however Cassandra Smith Road and Hamill Road are options as well.

Updates on when Lake Resort Drive will come when the road is confirmed to be reopened.
