Large tree falls on Hixson home overnight

HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF) — A large tree fell onto a home in Hixson Tuesday night.

It crashed into the bedroom of the house just before midnight on January 9.

It happened in the 5400 block of Towne Hills Lane.

The Chattanooga Fire Department said this caused extensive damage to the house.

They added that several people were inside the home at the time the tree fell. However, no one was injured.
