Largest fentanyl bust in Sequatchie County history
SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Police seized over 700 suspected fentanyl pills at a Signal Mountain residence. The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office said this is the largest fentanyl bust in the county’s history.
Officers obtained a search warrant and arrested three individuals on February 28. Police arrested Terry Gray, Donna Kay Harvey and Gwendolyn Faye Nichols.
The arrests took place at 650 Hall Road on Signal Mountain.
The sheriff’s office said they seized the following.
- 716 suspected fentanyl pills.
- Five grams of suspected meth.
- $1,845 in cash.
- 13 firearms.
- One vehicle.
The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with the 12th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Dunlap Police Department during the investigation.
Sheriff Bill Phillips commends the group effort by these law enforcement agencies.
“In this case, our agency, as well as the Dunlap P.D., works with the Task Force on an investigation that was assisted by information stemming from a Dunlap P.D. investigation. To top it off, a couple of T.B.I. agents just happened to be in town on some other business and they suit up and assist in the warrant service. The result of all of this is the largest known Fentanyl bust, to date, in our county, removing more than 700 of these potentially deadly pills, as well as some suspected meth, from our streets,” Sheriff Phillips said.
