Larry Fleet to headline Hamilton County Fair at McDonald Farm
SALE CREEK, Tenn. (WDEF) — On Tuesday, Hamilton County leaders announced the return of the Little Debbie Hamilton County Fair at McDonald Farm this year. The county announced this year’s musical performers and return of the rodeo.
The fair will return to the historic farm over Veterans Day weekend, November 8-10.
But leaders made other announcements about this year’s event as well.
Tennessee native and country singer Larry Fleet will headline the festival on night two of the fair, according to Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp.
Other musical acts this year include the return of local country singer Brandon Davis, who performed at the fair last year. Plus, platinum-selling band Sister Hazel will perform this year on night one.
“The Little Debbie Hamilton County Fair came back bigger and better than ever last year at its new home, McDonald Farm,” said Mayor Wamp. “We can’t wait until November when our community once again gathers to celebrate everything that makes this county the best place in America to raise a family.”
According to the county, the 2024 Hamilton County Fair will include expanded amusement rides and more food vendors.
A live rodeo, lumberjack show, and agricultural exhibits will return as well.
Wamp said in 2023, the reimagined fair brought in more than 40,000 visitors.
However, this year organizers have created a new traffic flow plan. They said this will “lead fairgoers to ample onsite parking at the farm with direct access to the fairgrounds.”
Daily ticket prices will range from $6 to $8. Three-day passes will be $13 if purchased in advance and $15 at the gate. Children 10 and under receive free admission.
They will also offer discounts for active military, veterans, emergency service personnel and teachers.
