Larry Gene Maddox charged with robbing Brainerd bank

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police identify the suspect arrested the robbery of the First American Bank on Brainerd Road on Wednesday.

The holdup happened just before 1 PM.

The suspect got away before officer arrived at the bank.

But officers spotted the getaway pickup and tried to stop it.

The pickup crash on Dodds Avenue and the driver taken into custody.

Police say Larry Gene Maddox confessed to robbing the bank.

He is charged with robbery.
