HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)–Late Saturday night, East Ridge Police responded to a shooting outside the AMC Chattanooga 18.

Late last night, East Ridge Police responded to a shooting outside the AMC Chattanooga 18.

According to East Ridge Assistant Police Chief Josh Creel, the incident occurred in the rear parking lot of the theater.

Due to conflicting reports suggesting the suspect may have entered the building, the theater was cleared and evacuated as a precaution.

The investigation remains ongoing. While no fatalities have been reported, authorities have not yet released information about the victims.
