Latest on Mowbray and Signal Mountain Fires

Hamilton County, Tennessee (WDEF)– Fires continue to burn on Mowbray and Signal Mountains, but what most people see and smell is smoke.

The Florida Forest Service says the Poe Road Fire is 352 acres and is 15%contained.

The Mowbray Mountain Fire is 639 acres and 50% contained.

And the Flipper Bend Fire is 1000 acres and 90% contained.

No homes are currently threatened by any of these blazes.
