Law enforcement involved in standoff at Fall Creek Falls
VAN BUREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Law enforcement agencies responded to an active incident at Fall Creeks Falls August 28, 2024.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department (VBCSD) released at 11:21 a.m. that there was a “law enforcement emergency” at the North side of Fall Creek Falls.
At 12:10 p.m., VBCSD released another update stating that the incident had been resolved.
They revealed a stand off had taken place for two and a half hours before the suspect was taken into custody.
No injuries resulted from this incident.
