Lee Highway Pursuit Leads to Crash

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — One person has been apprehended after Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Deputies conducted a traffic stop that led to a pursuit near the 7000 block of Lee Highway around 3:00 a.m. on December 3.

After HCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop, the driver of a vehicle fled as the deputy returned to their patrol vehicle, which led to the pursuit.

A passenger exited out of the vehicle before it took off.

The vehicle subsequently slowed after deputies performed a PIT maneuver.

The car then hit a Chrysler Van.

Seth Livingston, the driver, fled on foot briefly before being apprehended.

Livingston was reviewed at a hospital and then transferred to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.

Livingston was charged with the following:

  • Evading Arrest
  • Reckless Endangerment
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Violation of Probation – Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer
  • Violation of Probation – Theft of Property
  • Numerous Traffic Related Charges
