PIKEVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — A local church is anticipating the winter storm approaching on Monday by offering help to the public.

Lee Station Baptist Church is opening their doors for those who need alleviation from the cold.

Folks can go to the church if they are needing a warm place to stay.

Their doors will be open Monday and Tuesday as they are preparing for harsh, cold temperatures.

They say they will be offering a hot meal and a warm place to stay for those who need it.
