Lightning ignites propane tank in Catoosa County
CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — Lightning struck a home in the Poplar Springs community during Friday’s storms. The Catoosa County Fire Department said the lightning strike ignited a propane tank.
The propane tank fire then burned some of the house’s siding toward the back yard.
Catoosa County Firefighters quickly stopped the fire before it grew.
They say this is just one of several responses to storm damage this afternoon.
