Lightning strikes house in Hixson

HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF)- The fire happened in the 1800 block of Bay Pointe Drive in Hixson.

Multiple companies responded to the fire.

Residents and the their pets got out of the home safely.

Lighting struck a Hixson residence during this afternoon’s storms, causing a fire. CFD crews got the fire under control quickly in the 1800 block of Bay Pointe Dr. Residents and pets got out of the home safely. Multiple companies responded and had a quick knockdown.
