LionHearts Fitness gearing up for world championships
RINGGOLD, Ga. (WDEF)- Lionhearts Fitness is getting ready for the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships.
Lionhearts is a free fitness gym for teenagers to compete at a high level in sports.
It’s located on Cloud Springs Road in Rinngold.
The students train for competitions like cross country with obstacles.
The gym also offers free mentorships for students as they train.
“I always tell them you are not racing against everybody else, you are racing against yourself. So we are gonna have a good time out there,” said Luccketta. “It is just gonna mean so much to me seeing these young athletes out there at a world championship series race. We are gonna have a good time, and I’m just excited to see how they do.”
The OCR World Championship will take place in Mammoth Lake California later October.
Lion Heart Fitness will represent the United States against several other countries.
