Little Debbie Park in Collegedale to open Fall 2023

COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The City of Collegedale is creating a new park, and say their progress is coming along nicely. It is called the Little Debbie Park at Collegedale Commons.

The park includes multiple Little Debbie sculptures, including a Christmas Tree Cake that is already in progress.

However, they stated on social media that the tree is not edible.

Other Little Debbie sculptures will include an Oatmeal Cookie, a Nutty Bar, a Cosmic Brownie and a Chocolate Cupcake.

The park opens in Fall 2023, according to the City. It is located at 4698 Swinyar Drive.

The construction crews have already built some of the playground equipment as well.

They have also made progress on some of the pavilions.

And much of the playground equipment will be nature themed, featuring acorns, leaves and logs.

According to the City of Collegedale, the park will include a zipline, musical instruments, see saws, balance beams and much more.

It will also feature many swings, benches, picnic tables and a bridge crossing a creek.
