Local events cancelled due to weather
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- Several events that were supposed to take place Saturday have been rescheduled.
The Whitfield County, "Prepare-a-thon," has been cancelled due to the threat of severe weather. The Community Disaster Awareness Day will be rescheduled for a later date.
Due to approaching thunder storms, The Department of Youth and Family Development made the decision to reschedule the book give back for students.
The Reviving Baseball in the Inner City kickoff event has been rescheduled to April 30th.
Saturday’s Clean and Green event, which is Downtown Chattanooga’s annual cleanup event, has been rescheduled for a later date.
