Local High School Football Kids Enjoy National Signing Day

Several local high school football players put pen to paper on Wednesday on National Signing Day. McCallie had six players sign with quarterback William Riddle going to ETSU. East Hamilton also had six players sign with receiver Jeremiah Flemmons going to Austin Peay.

Calhoun had a record seven players sign on Wednesday, highlighted by receiver Cole Speer going to Georgia. Bradley Central had two players sign preferred walk on scholarship with Karter Howard going to Austin Peay and Josh Helsdon going to Tennessee.

Those were just some of the signings on Wednesday from Northwest Georgia and the Tennessee Valley.
