Local non-profits come together for Giving Tuesday
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — United Way in Chattanooga is doing something special for Giving Tuesday.
They’ve launched an online portal where you can find local non-profits and give to them directly.
Charities of all sizes are there, from the Chattanooga Area Food Bank to Welcome Home of Chattanooga.
You don’t have to wait until Giving Tuesday to get involved, the program is up and running at ChattanoogaGives.org
Terran Anderson, VP of Corporate and Community Outreach for United Way of Greater Chattanooga told us: “CHAgives is a movement that united way of greater Chattanooga is putting together around giving Tuesday to ensure that all of our non-profit friends have the opportunity to reach out to the community together and really just tap into the generosity that Chattanooga offers.”
