Local road closures that could impact drivers
Several road closures will be taking place that could impact drivers in our area. Details are as follows, according to the Office of the Hamilton County Mayor.

Thatch Road will remain closed through Thursday, April 30 due to a delay in the delivery of large box culverts.
Detour routes will be posted, directing traffic from Thatch Road to Birchwood Pike, then to Henry Road.
Local residents will have access to and from their homes during this time. Access to TVA land will need to be reached via the detour using Henry Road.
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.

Motorists should plan to use the detour route: Thrasher Pike to North Dent to Gann Road. Residents within this closure will have access to and from their homes.
Roberts Mill Road:
