CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – The first big production of Good Soil Theatre Co. is coming to downtown Cleveland this weekend and next weekend for their performance of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream!”
Good Soil Theatre Co. is a new, local professional theater company started by Emma Witz when she graduated from Lee University and discovered a lack of local theater opportunities in the area.
The theatre company brings multiple star crossed lover stories to life with their own magical rendition. Actors will be bringing the famous Shakespearean play to life on two stages with some interactions with the audience.
The performances will be at 7 P.M. on First Street Square in Downtown Cleveland on May 30, May 31, June 1, June 5, June 7, and June 8. There are tiered levels for tickets with some provided picnic seating or lawn seating.
