Longtime golfer aspires to golf 90 holes for his 90th birthday

UPDATE: Due to weather, Boyd Cobb will be golfing 90 holes to raise money for YoungLife Chattanooga on Monday, April 14.

.CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Longtime golfer, Boyd Cobb has a goal very few dream of. In honor of his 90th birthday, he’s aspiring to golf 90 holes.

You’ll typically find Boyd golfing throughout the week at the Chattanooga Golf & Country Club.

Coming up on 90 years young, he has an inspiring story for us all to never give up and believe in yourself.

Besides continuing to enjoy his favorite hobby, he does it all himself– walking, toting, etc.

You can support him on his adventure Monday morning, April 7 at the Chattanooga Golf & Country Club to raise money for YoungLife Chattanooga. The organization has had a huge impact on his family throughout the years and he wants to raise awareness and give back.
