Look Who’s Coming to Riverbend Next Summer
Here is some of the music coming our way in June.
Country music performer Thomas Rhett will headline the opening night show on Friday, June 10th.
He couldn’t be hotter right now, thanks to the current single "Die A Happy Man."
It is Number One right now on Billboard’s Hot Country charts, making it five top singles in a row for him.
But the song is also crossing over to the hot adult contemporary chart.
The headliner for the next night will be the classic rock group Heart, on Saturday, June 11th.
Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson are members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Dozens of albums & dozens of hits (“Crazy on You,” “Magic Man,” “Barracuda,”“These Dreams,” “Alone,” “What About Love")
The hits come in the 1970s, 80s & 90’s.
Heart also has shown remarkable longevity with Top Ten albums in the 70s, 80, 90s and 2010.
Riverbend also announced that the progressive bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles will play the festival on Sunday, June 12.
They will get the early 6:30 PM slot on the Coke Stage.
Friends of the Festival Entertainment Director, Dixie Fuller says, “Trampled By Turtles has played every major festival over the last two years and they’re one of the most requested modern age bluegrass acts.”
