Lookout Mountain couple arrested after juveniles found drunk at party
LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Lookout Mountain couple has been charged after authorities discovered several intoxicated juveniles at their home.
On February 22, 2025, around 11:45 p.m., officers were patrolling near Stephenson Avenue and Fort Stephenson Place when they noticed a large gathering of vehicles outside 156 Fort Stephenson Place, partially obstructing the roadway.
Upon investigating, officers found multiple beer cans and liquor bottles near the vehicles.
As they approached the scene, they observed a juvenile walking unsteadily away from the residence.
When officers stopped to check on him, he began vomiting “large quantities,” according to the affidavit.
EMS was called to the scene assess his condition.
While determining the extent of the underage drinking, officers found another unconscious juvenile inside the home.
Both juveniles were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
At the hospital, McCallie Schools’ Academic Dean, Chris Carpenter, confirmed that the juveniles were boarding students at the school.
Initially, party attendees denied any knowledge of alcohol consumption.
However, they later admitted that underage drinking had occurred.
Officers identified and questioned additional individuals inside the home, and parents of some juveniles were contacted.
As a result of the investigation, authorities arrested the party hosts, William Haisten and Marcella Haisten, on charges of reckless endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of minors.
