Lookouts Down M-Braves 6-1 For Third Straight win

Lookouts pitchers Dietrich Enns and Tyler Wells combined to only allow one run, in nine innings, in a 6-1 win against the Mississippi Braves. It was Chattanooga’s third straight victory. For Enns it was his first win of the season and for Wells it marked his first appearance in a Lookouts uniform. The duo also combined for 11 strikeouts and only three walks.

Chattanooga’s offense provided their pitchers run support early and often. In the second inning Tanner English aced a two-run double to left field. In the third, Luke Raley increased the team’s lead to four with his first home run as a Lookout. Later in the inning, Jaylin David knocked home Chris Paul who reached on a single. Davis finished the night with three hits to bring his average to .290 on the year.

Mississippi managed to score in the fifth, but Chattanooga scored one more in the seventh to keep their lead at five.
