Lookouts Open Homestand Against Biloxi With 12-6 Victory

Chattanooga Lookouts infielder Nick Quintana smashed a grand slam in the first inning to set the tone for a 12-6 Lookouts win over the Shuckers. The two teams combined to hit six homers.

Up 4-1 in the third, the Lookouts added two more runs on Shuckers errors and two more in the fourth on a Rece Hinds home run.

Shuckers catcher Jeferson Quero hit three home runs to keep cut the lead to 8-6, but the team added four more runs to make it 12-6.

Carson Spiers and Stevie Branche combined to throw 4.1 shutout innings after starting pitcher Sam Benschoter left in the fifth.

Tomorrow, the teams return for a 11:15 a.m. game.
