(press release) – The Chattanooga Lookouts today announced the successful completion of the team’s first-ever homestand at Erlanger Park, highlighted by three sell-outs and an average crowd of 6,500 fans per game.
Across six games, Lookouts fans packed Erlanger Park and helped usher in a new era of baseball in the Scenic City. The team recorded three sell-outs and welcomed 39,000 fans through the gates during the homestand.
“This was an unforgettable week for our organization and for our city,” said Lookouts President Rich Mozingo. “Seeing Erlanger Park full of families, kids, longtime Lookouts supporters, and brand-new fans was incredibly special. We cannot thank the people of Chattanooga enough for their enthusiasm and support. Their energy made our new home come alive, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of the season celebrating baseball with them.”
The Lookouts received hundreds of messages lauding the new ballpark.  Among those was season ticket holder John Bradford who wrote: “This new ballpark has taken Lookouts baseball to a whole new level. The crowds, the atmosphere, and the sense of community around Erlanger Park have made Opening Week unforgettable — it’s what baseball in Chattanooga has always deserved.”
