Looks Who’s Coming to Riverbend 2016

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Friends of the Festival announce three more headliners for next summer’s Riverbend shows.

Here are the details:

Brett Eldredge 
Wednesday, June 15
9:30 PM, Coca Cola stage


Another rising country music star plays Riverbend.  

Brett Eldredge just released his second album this year, but he already has a gaggle of top hits ("Don’t Ya," "Mean to Me," "Beat of the Music," "Lose My Mind")

But Eldredge isn’t afraid to step across genre lines.

He just performed his second annual holiday Sinatra tribute in Nashville.

And they’re still talking about Eldredge & Thomas Rhett’s medely of pop hits on tour this fall that included covers of Meghan Trainor, Drake & even Kanye.


Blackberry Smoke
Wednesday, June 15
6:30 PM, Coca Cola Stage

The early show on Wednesday goes to Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke.

Yes, you can still make a living walking the line between rock & country, and this Atlanta group is doing it.

Their Holding All The Roses album this year went top ten on both the U.S. Country and Rock charts.


Salt-N-Pepa
Thursday, June 16
6:30 PM, Coca Cola Stage

The pioneering rappers Salt N Pepa will perform at Riverbend for the early show on Thursday.

The first female rap crew have won Grammys, MTV Video Awards & BET Hip Hop awards back in the 1990s.

The hits were "Push It," "Tramp," "Shake Your Thang," "Shoop" and "Whatta Man."

The group reformed in 2007, landed a reality show on MTV in 2007, a national tour in 2011 & even a popular Geico commercial this year.
