A lucky few got to greet President Trump at the airport

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Thousands of people flooded McKenzie Arena earlier this evening to see President Donald Trump.

We had a crew at the airport tonight as the president and vice president touched down at Chattanooga Lovell Field.

Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn joined the president and V-P as they walked out of Air Force One and into the presidential motorcade.

Air Force One and Two landed within 20 minutes of each other and a crowd of people were there cheering them on.

We spoke to supporters after the motorcade left for McKenzie Arena.

VIP guest Victoria Jones told us “It was amazing. It really was a once in a lifetime chance. Our grandfather is actually retired from the secret service so he’s the one that allowed us to get here so we’re very thankful for that. Definitely a life changing experience, absolutely.”

Most of the people in the crowd were invited as friends and family of secret service members or airport employees.
