MAC asks for public’s help after goats found dead behind Aldi

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The McKamey Animal Center (MAC) is asking the public for help in regards to deceased goats found behind a local Aldi.

On September 2, 2025, MAC received a report indicating there were dead animals in a creek behind an Aldi located at 637 Mundy Street.

When MAC personnel arrived on scene, they located 5 deceased goats in various stages of decomposition.

MAC says further forensic examination will be conducted to try and determined the cause and approximate date of their deaths.

MAC is also asking the public for any information about who may be responsible for the deaths and/or the dumping of the bodies.
