Machete argument ends with one man dead and the other behind bars
Suspect calls it a justifiable homicide
ATHENS, Tennessee (WDEF) – An Athens Tennessee man told police it was “justifiable Homicide” when they found the body of a man at his house Saturday night.
James Ramey lives in the 1700 block of View Street.
When police arrived, they found the body of Steve McKheean lying in a pool of blood.
Police say he was attacked with “edged weapons” including a machete after an argument.
Ramey is charged with 2nd degree murder and is in the McMinn county jail.
