Major League Baseball Approves Sale of Lookouts to Hardball Capital
Major League Baseball has approved the sale of the Chattanooga Lookouts to Hardball Capital.
Jason Freier and John Woods of Hardball Capital purchased the team from long time Lookouts owner Frank Burke.
The Lookouts have scheduled a press conference for Wednesday afternoon to announced the sale.
Freier and Woods are expected to be in attendance along with Chattanooga Mayor Andy Burke and Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger.
This season the Lookouts will be the new home of the Minnesota Twins Double-A franchise.
Many of the Twins top prospects could start the season in Chattanooga.
