Man arrested on drug charges in Rhea County

RHEA COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A man was recently arrested on drug charges in Rhea County.

The Rhea County Sheriff’s Department (RCSO) posted on Facebook that this arrest came after executing a search warrant.

The search warrant was for 125 Foggy Mountain Lane in the Grandview community.

RCSO detectives seized multiple substances from the residence including methamphetamine, marijuana, other drug paraphernalia, and several firearms.

This search led to the arrest of Joseph Beyer.

Beyer was transported to the Rhea County Jail and is charged with the following:

  • Possession of methamphetamine for resale
  • Possession of marijuana for resale
  • Maintaining a drug dwelling
  • Felon in possession of a weapon
  • Possessing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony
