Man arrested on mass violence charge for making threats toward Pikeville Elementary School
BLEDSOE COUNTY — A man has been arrested after making threats against Pikeville Elementary School, according to the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department (BCSD).
They say on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a threatening social media post directed toward Pikeville Elementary School in Pikeville, Tennessee.
Detectives identified the individual responsible for the post as Roberson Cole Bryant.
Bryant was arrested and charged with Threats of Mass Violence on School Property.
They say there is no immediate threat to Pikeville Elementary School and the post has been taken down.
The Sheriff’s Office says they are continuing to work with school officials and have increased patrol presence in the area as a precaution.
