Man arrested after foot chase

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A man with multiple outstanding warrants, who’s also a suspect in a shots fired incident, was arrested after leading Chattanooga police officers on a foot chase.

Police say the foot pursuit began on Wheeler Avenue and ended on Windsor Street last night.

19-year-old Tyquan Vaughn faces multiple charges including reckless endangerment, theft of property, possessing a firearm with the intent to go armed and reckless driving.

Police say it started when officers began a brief pursuit of Vaughn’s car. They say Vaughn sped off from police, and he eventually struck a curb and crashed his car.

He then ran off and was caught by K-9 officers.
