Man charged with animal cruelty after multiple animals found neglected on property in Hamilton County
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A repeat cruelty investigation has led to the confiscation of many more animals at a location on Suck Creek Road.
According to the affidavit, The Humane Society took away a dog from David Eck last month saying he was not providing enough shelter or food for it.
Eck had reclaimed the dog, and was told to provide food, water, and shelter for the animal.
When officers returned this month they had found the dog was just as neglected.
The affidavit states that state officials also seized 27 goats, two horses and one donkey from his property on a separate animal cruelty case.
Eck has been charged with Animal Abuse.
