Man dies in Catoosa County house fire
RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Officials in Catoosa County say a man has died after an early morning house fire.
It happened around 7 AM on Joe Tike Drive, just off Boynton Drive, half way between Ringgold and Fort Oglethorpe.
Off duty firefighters who live in the area were the first on the scene.
They found heavy fire on the second floor and roof.
They found the victim in an upstairs bedroom.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
