Man on fire near an East Ridge fire station

EAST RIDGE, Tennessee (WDEF) – A man has died after burning in his driveway in East Ridge.

It happened Wednesday evening just before 7PM.

Firefighters were just returning from a call when they saw the smoke.

It took them just a couple of blocks from the new station on Thomas Street behind the Bass Pro Shops.

The found the Senad Kadic on fire in the driveway.

They put him out and gave him first aid, but could not save him.

East Ridge is investigating the circumstances.
