Man hides in barn after fleeing officer

A man got away in a chase last week, only to wreck soon afterwards.

Police say Wayne Lynn fled an officer in Scottsboro after providing a bogus drivers license.

When the chase exceeded 130 miles and hour, the officer broke it off.

But then a resident called in that a car had crashed.

Police found him hiding in a barn.

They have charged him with eluding police and that he had several other outstanding warrants across Alabama.
