Man hit by 18 wheeler in front of McMinn Justice Center

ATHENS, Tennessee (WDEF) – A pedestrian was killed early Monday morning in front of the McMinn County Justice Center on Highway 30.

Athens police say the man was in the middle of a turn lane and stepped in front of an 18 wheeler just before 7 AM.

He was wearing all dark clothing.

The truck driver was not injured.
